New Executive Director at CHOICE

It has been a most busy and productive spring here at CHOICE In mid-May, our new Executive Director, Lynn H.Green, began making the transition into her new post. On June 15, a welcoming reception was held in Lynn's honor where over 80 members of the community stopped by to meet and greet Lynn and the entire CHOICE staff. It was a lovely gathering -- with many new and young faces among the crowd. Lynn's employment at CHOICE is also a homecoming: she served as Hotline Counselor and Resource Coordinator here in the 1980s. She brings with her direct service, fundraising, and research experience in the field of reproductive health and adolescent sexual behavior. We are all looking forward to a very exciting year ahead.

Public Health Delegation from the Republic of South Korea Visits CHOICE

On June 16, CHOICE management met with members of a public health delegation from the Republic of South Korea to discuss the Hotline's HIV education and outreach programs. The visitors had discovered CHOICE's hotline via our website and requested their host to include us on their itinery. It was a most positive and enlightening exchange as we spent the afternoon sharing strategies, challenges, and solutions. The staff looks forward to maintaining an ongoing dialogue with the individuals and the organizations they represent in South Korea.
